We offer the following subscription options for STV Player+, our premium service via our website and third-party payment partners including Apple and Roku: 


  • Monthly billing at £3.99 
  • Yearly billing at £39.99 


Please note that if you purchase your STV Player+ subscription through a third party, your payment and account management will usually be done through the subscription partner. If you used Apple Pay as a payment method via our website then your subscription will be managed directly with STV Player 


Changing your subscription period – Website (stv.tv) 

 

If you are currently subscribed via STV Player website and wish to amend your payment plan visit my.stv.tv/plan and select the Change to monthly/yearly option by following the steps below:

  1. Login to your STV player+ account via a mobile or web browser 
  2. Click on your account profile (your initial in a circle) in the top right corner of the screen. 
  3. Under Membership & billing, click on Manage membership to view your current plan 
  4. Select the option to Change to yearly or Change to monthly as applicable 
  5. Review the new billing cycle information 
  6. Select Pay & subscribe 


  • Changing from Monthly to Yearly - your billing will change immediately with new renewal date and you will be charged a prorated amount for the first year of your plan. The Subscription auto-renews yearly unless cancelled. Cancel anytime, effective at the end of the subscription period. 
  • Changing from Yearly to Monthly - your billing will not change until the end of your current Yearly subscription period, you will then be charged the Monthly price, on that date every month (or nearest) until cancelled. 

 

Note: There are no refunds for part-used subscriptions, so please be aware of this when entering into a new subscription schedule, and you will lose the benefit of any current promotion or price held. 

 



Changing your subscription period – Apple via the STV Player iOS app 

 

If you are currently subscribed via Apple and wish to change to the other payment plan then visit the Settings > Plan page in our app and select the option to change. 

  • Changing from Monthly to Yearly - your billing will change immediately with new renewal date and you will be charged a prorated amount for the first year of your plan. The Subscription auto-renews yearly unless cancelled. Cancel anytime, effective at the end of the subscription period.
